The Chicago Bears SHOULD NOT Trade For Haason Reddick

Chicago Bears trade rumors: Jets EDGE Haason Reddick may have to be traded after both Reddick and the Jets have not come to an agreement on a contract extension according to ESPN NFL Insider Jeremy Fowler. Should Bears GM Ryan Poles look into trading for Reddick? Chat Sports host Harrison Graham explains why the Bears should not trade for Reddick, but perhaps an offensive lineman before the 2024 NFL Trade Deadline.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler on the Haason Reddick situation:
“The Haason Reddick saga rolls on with no end in sight. Both sides appear dug in as the Jets wait for the defensive end to report to work. Their options appear clear: keep him on the reserve list until he reports or attempt to trade him closer to the trade deadline. The latter is looking more likely, according to multiple league execs.’Not sure they have a choice. They wouldn't get similar value back [3rd rounder], but it would be hard [for the Jets] to pay him at this point, and he clearly doesn't want to be there.’”

He has double digits sacks last 4 years with 3 different teams. He worth just as much as sweat if not more. Why you think they don’t want to let him go. They can get equal or better value in a trade. He fit 3~4 and 4~3 schemes DE and OLB. If sweat or Taylor go down we’re back where we started . If we get him sign him 2+ yrs and have taylor booker hardy walker martin in rotation … it’s a no brainer! Why are we even asking . This is Chicago! Act like it.

One thing I've always appreciated about the Bears is that there is not a negative personality on the team. Yeah Nate Davis doesn't want to practice but he's not a Diva about it. Hassan Reddick is a Diva and the bears don't need that.

Harrison I came to the realization that the Bears should just draft offensive lineman with the draft capital they got. First round Center, the 2 seconds Guard and Running Back in that order.

Use our bank account on a RG and a C. That is our priority right now. Our trade with Seattle covered whatever gain we would have gotten with Reddick.
