I picked mine up from DHL yesterday and made two quick test flights this morning. Nice and steady in the air, and the panic button works like magic! Well done!

I just got one....impressive through and through. In beginner mode, it nearly flies itself. A perfect set-up for the first time flyer, success is almost guaranteed. The advanced options (Intermediate/Experienced) makes it a one size fits all.

Man, I wish they had something like this when I started flying RC twelve years ago. I started on a Firebird, transitioned to an Aerobird, and then transitioned once more to the original brushed-motor F-27 Stryker. With the Delta Ray, it's as if you get all three of these planes in one airframe!

Yes, you can start in panic mode. Full throttle, press the panic button and hand launch the plane. Works like a charm. Landing in panic mode is a bit more tricky. If you fly in panic mode and cut the throttle entirely the sink rate gets a bit too high for my taste. I've opted to land manually every time.

Great plane for a beginner like me. Though I admit that spending a lot of time on a flight simulator beforehand really helped. I was able to land it successfully. Ive had a total of three flights and no crashes. Ive never had to use the panic button. My only issue is that I cannot trim it. It flies around in circles by itself. It keeps circling away from me so there is a real chance of a fly away. Though I was able to trim for pitch at the beginning of the first flight.

Great video. I just purchased a Delta Ray but want to set it up using my Spectrum Dx8. Can you provide (either video or printed list) on steps to program the Delta Ray into Spectrum Dx8?

Anyone selling their dray plane. Mine crashed swiping a tree like 10 or so years ago and I realized there’s none in stock

Think its possible to use the "safe" on another plane? I really want to fly a large a10 but, i realize my limitations at this point.

My thoughts were to pin the rudder in place and basically turn a 4 or 5 channel plane into a 3 channel and have the hobbyzone avionics control an edc the same way it does the delta ray.

Below is what I want to but the delta ray "safe" technology in.
