I'm 70 years old and I've never heard of this song or this singer.

Sorry guys but this is not original, it is brand new and generated by Ai. Unfortunately this is a new trend hitting You Tube and other platforms. The song is written and performed by a computer in 2024.
Brave new World my ass. 😂✌️

Take a listen a song by a guy from that era Gary U.S. Bonds song titled " New Orleans"..a very kicking song .

I have to wonder who suggested this one. The artist doesn't exist and the song was generated by AI according to the video description.

There’s a reason some songs don’t stand the test of time.

Cool song. I thought I’d heard everything like this from the 50s, but this is the first time I remember hearing this song and artist.

From 1958 you should listen to Link Wray's "Rumble". It was played in the movie "Pulp Fiction" and a few commercials. It is one of the earliest rock songs to utilize distortion and tremolo.
According to Rolling Stone, Pete Townshend of The Who once said, "If it hadn't been for Link Wray and 'Rumble, ' I never would have picked up a guitar."

Great fun! I hadn't heard this before, but absolutely love it, especially the drums.

Covering or putting something in the bell of the trumpet makes what's called a "mute" to change the tone of the brass. Cab Calloway's band did it with their derby hats.

Since I Don't Have You by the Skyliners, that's the one you need to hear next!

I'm in my 70's and I have never heard of the song or the singer. Try some more Platers songs. Everything they did was great. Very much classic 50's music.

I'm a huge music guy, especially of this era, I never heard of this guy!

Seeing the artwork and the title of this song, inspiration may have been taken from the James Dean film Rebel Without a Cause. Check out Cliff Richard's debut single "Move It". Probably one of the first rock and roll songs produced outside the US. Side note: I'm not going for the blue suede shoes, it's impractical because it rains a lot here. But I'm still on the hunt for a raspberry beret from a second hand store. 🙂

Jay & Amber, For a great instrumental, Billy Preston’s “Outa Space”!!! Billy plays several different keyboards on this very funky song!!! This one will get you out of your chairs!!! (you have said you want to do some instrumentals) Also, the best combination of piano and horns you’ll ever hear: search Downchild - For Pete's Sake. Jane Vasey on piano. Downchild Blues Band. Talk about a hidden gem, wow!!
