I grew up in Warwick! I've been to many movie nights and car shows at the drive in. Crazy watching your journey all the way from the south to my home town. One day I'll thru hike the trail, it actually runs right along the ridge behind my parents house. Hopefully you stopped at the bellvale creamery for ice cream only 2 minutes from my house and not far off trail literally the best ice cream I've had in my life. Enjoy the rest of your hike!

Did you just use soap directly into the stream?! That is such a no-no. Fully biodegradable soap should still be used at least 200ft from the water source and so the soap can filter through the soil rather than directly impacting the sensitive ecosystem. Biodegradable soaps will say this right on the bottle :(
