OMGOODNESS! I know where this is going…I thought I did, now I know for certain. Many, many moons ago, I was neighbors with a family who had “mirror” twins that were born over 2 days apart, and in separate years.

I had a singleton, but I still had contractions off and on for almost a week after giving birth. They got so strong at one point that I had to pull the car over immediately.

My sister delivered the first of her triplets at home and she didn’t make it and she was 25 weeks. She had the other 2 2.5 weeks later at 27 weeks.

You just had a baby and you don’t recognize contractions?
asiamarie
But how did they miss that there was still a kid in there!?

My mum had a similar experience without the extra surprise babies. She thought labour & contractions were food poisoning, spent hours bent over the toilet bowl. I was delivered in a hospital, but for a little while i genuinely mogut have been a toilet baby. Oops
