I wonder why they expected this to click with audiences.. Having a crooked cop as a protagonist who shoots a man for trying to flee, then says he’ll plant evidence on them, is not an endearing quality, made many times worse when you consider the current climate surrounding law enforcement/citizen relationship.
Or maybe there was another reason people disliked it?
