I didn't even know my camera had a Kodak Portra 160 film in it so I was surprised when I got it developed! 😅 But I have since bought 5 more and really look forward to sharing those results with you too over the next few months. I love Kodak Portra and Gold equally and I think each one has great qualities for different scenarios :)

You did very well with the 160, it is an ecceptional film. The 200 Gold is a completely different proposition. It is reputed to have been formulated by Kodak in response to demands by magazine photographers wanting a film to produce warm tones of wood well. That is why it wad called Gold. A byproduct of that is the film is really good for darker and tanned skins. Keep going.

amazing video! my dad recently gave me his old dynax 5 (same model as yours) and I'm trying to learn how to shoot my friends and I on film :) I would love to know what aperture, ISO and shutter speed combination you used for the shot of your friends on a dock at golden hour! I will be using using Kodak gold 200 film and I would love to get a similar shot of my friends <3
