Oh, my, did this strike a nerve! I live this. Grew up with alcoholic. I was emotionally neglected and abandoned. Now, I want to be vulnerable and talk to resolve issues, but my spouse is alcoholic and NOT VULNERABLE. Avoids any conversation except superficial.
