This is the Director's Cut version, Sonic Adventure DX for Nintendo GameCube and PS3 which was originally released for the Sega Dreamcast and features new content such as unique missions for each character. I am playing this game on the PS3 as a PSN Game to progress the game 100%

Knuckle's Story: Knuckles chases after Gamma to board the Egg Carrier. He finds the last three remaining shards needed to restore the power of the Master Emerald. Once he acquires these shards, Knuckles meets up with Sonic to take down Chaos. Chaos is caught off guard and is easily defeated by Sonic, allowing Knuckles to finish him off on the Egg Carrier. With Chaos 6 defeated, Knuckles successfully restores the Master Emerald by combining it with the three last shards. The Angel Island, located near the Mystic Ruins, is now restored, and Knuckles feels happy knowing he must keep the Master Emerald safe from any incoming threats.
