THIS is the New Mercedes AMG GT 4-Door 63S! | FIRST DRIVE

Let's explore the brand new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door, the latest member of the AMG family! With an opportunity to drive the top-spec 63 S version on both the road and on track at Circuit of the Americas, we truly discover everything there is to know about this German super-saloon.

Based on the platform of the Mercedes E-Class and newly released CLS, the GT 4-Door is the 3rd model to arrival that's created in house by AMG. Available in a number of engine options including a 43 variant, 53, 63 and the 63 S, my time was spent with the latter featuring a 4.0l biturbo V8 with 639hp and 900nm of torque. Featuring 4MATIC+ the power is mostly sent to the rear with a Drift Mode 2WD setting available and a configuration set up to be very dynamic it's at home on the track albeit a bit firm on the road.

With an opportunity to go into serious detail we can cover all of the elements of the car from a look around the exterior, to fully running through the technology available on the interior. There is of course also the chance to drive it both on the roads of Texas and back on circuit with plenty of time to get to grips and get a real idea of what it's about.

This is the most amazing GT I've ever seen. Just give it the other wheels and the spoiler in the configurator and this car is gorgeous as hell.

It appears Mercedes did a good job with this AMG! I too am amazed at the room available in the rear of the car not only when you put the rear seats down, but just in general. That's really a nice option for such a sporty car. I must say, the satin black looks BEAST for sure, (my wife likes the white one 😀) Great video SHMEE!!!👍

I was going off Mercs but this things looks amazing! Right up my street, the rear looks nice too. This spec is how I'd have all my cars if I was one of these rich people! I know some will think it's boring but I just love the stealth and meaness look it gives ALL cars
