FROM TRASH TO TREASURE: A junk journal from packaging #2 Double flip out with a pocket | DIY journal

Let's continue to work on our junk journal that we are making from random packaging and actual junk :)

In this little video series we are turning random element that most people would throw away into something beautiful. Let's recycle, upcycle and make a journal!

I see hummingbirds constantly in my yard. I also see woodpeckers as well, I didn't know Las Vegas had woodpeckers lol. I moved last February, still in Las Vegas. Just a different side of town. I kept hearing knocking, I went outside and there it was. I took so many photos of the woodpecker. I've lived in Vegas for 25yrs, needless to say I was beyond thrilled to see woodpeckers in real life.

I am in the US and every summer I buy the flowers that hummingbirds enjoy drinking from.
I sit outside with my phone and video them. They will fly right up to you, hover in the air and study you.
They are fascinating to watch. So sorry they really aren't in Poland.

Fellow chocoholic in the house! ☺ My Spanish girlfriend used to ask me all the time what the English phrases were, I delighted in her interest and exploring her ideas about the English language ☺ love this series 💕

That'ts what I loved about this kit, , the beautiful hummingbirds. We used to have hummingbirds in one of our rental homes and roses in front of the house. We would sit and watch them drink from all the feeders we had hanging and even video some for memories. It was the most relaxing moments. When all this is over, hopefully one day you should experience Arizona here in the states. We have the most beautiful skies, warm weather, exotic birds, hiking trails that are breathtaking and you, your boyfriend and doggo would love it I guarantee it. I live near Sedona which has amazing resorts for your stay and so many shops that would inspire your creativity for sure! (Is good to dream. You never know 😉 💙)

I love hummingbirds too. They have a spiritual element to them. Last summer I was sitting on my deck and one came right up to me. I videotaped him and I felt like it was my son saying, "Hi mom. This is another fun and easy project, problem with me is I don’t have time, and I usually watch your video after I come home from work, to wind down. But I do save scraps to use in the future whenever I would have the time to do these projects, and I purchase your digital kits in the hope to use them some day but for now mainly to support you and show my appreciation of the craftsmanship you do which is truly amazing. Oh my goodness. I guess I’ve never thought of not having hummingbirds. I have a family of the most beautiful Ruby Throated hummingbirds that come to my feeders. Hummingbirds are my most favorite bird.
I recently got a hedgehog and I wanted one for as long as I can remember. I heard that in parts of Europe they run wild like our squirrels do. I would love to see that.

We have a bird here in Ohio the color of your blue bird called an Indigo Bunting. They are such a beautiful blue all over. I’m sure you would love seeing hummingbirds. They are like flying jewels. I put my hummingbird feeder out in the spring on my front porch. If you sit still they are very curious about you and come very close. So very tiny.
Your journal is going to be beautiful. I agree with your comments about spring, a new beginning. Blessings for you and yours.

Martyna, I have Hummingbirds, and bluebirds. I dream of seeing a Red Cardinal. I don't think I will ever realize that dream. Sometimes we put out hummingbird feeders. Those birds are very territorial and will chase away any other hummers that come around. It's quite interesting to watch. Your project is looking great. I love it.
