Every day this week, celebrity contestants Lucy Beaumont, Shazia Mirza, Joe Thomas and Jake Wood take on a series of quiz rounds selected by the host, quiz legend Richard Osman.

A daily winner is declared following a quick-fire round at the end of each show, and the scores are tallied across the week, resulting in an overall champion being crowned on Friday.

Will the winning stars opt for the much-coveted House of Games decanter, or will they be tempted by the House of Games kitchen composter?

I really think they need to ditch (or at least significantly adjust) Stick It - it’s almost always a disaster, and a stressful one at that! Between the unresponsive technology, time lag, minuscule guessing window, and the nigh impossibility of rendering historical figures as specific as “Mary Shelley” or “Mary Queen of Scots” in a few quick strokes, it’s an exercise in frustration.

I learned about Awful Knofel from Lee Mack in a Taskmaster outtake, although at the time, I wasn't quite sure if it was a real story or if he was just having a laugh.

Am I the only person who got "Awful Knofel" because it was so obviously the only name that could have INSPIRED someone to call himself "Evel Knievel" AFTER he heard it? It was the only name that rhymed! Seemed like no one in the studio - including Richard - actually understood the question, going on about what a "coincidence" it would've been for the two of them to be imprisoned together... Weird. Have to agree with a previous commenter that this week is a bit of a slog so far. Might have to skip ahead to week 4 now, and return to this lot once I've gotten over this whole Knofel fiasco.

North American here--moose and elk are two different animals. We have one we call a moose (Alces Alces) and elk (Cervus canadensis). Wonder how these are distinguished in the UK?
