How to Export Data from Tableau to Excel - Tableau in Two Minutes

In this video we cover some of the ways you can export data from Tableau Desktop. Even though we spend a lot of time looking at how to add and manipulate data in Tableau, you may want to export data to Excel, or perhaps to use Tableau as a tool to pull data from a data warehouse because of the ease of the interface.

This video covers a few of the export options from Tableau and is great for users new to Tableau who haven't yet learned how to move data backwards and forwards, or for those who need to copy Tableau data to another file or into a spreadsheet.

Online Trial Version doesn't seem to have an Export option. And I don't see where the file lands when you Publish, either. Anyone know?

Hi! One of pie chart I made is using some data that is actually not completely from the data set I joined. Some data is from the original data set without joining. Do you know how to let the pie chart just use the joined data set?
