Ahh yes, showing 2017/ 2019 LEGO DC sets rather going back to 2010-2016 when there were actual abundance of DC sets ranging from Batman to Batman and friends sets, lol

I miss the old sets 2015 was the peak year with Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas, Jokerland, Brainiac Attack and the Green Lantern Jet

It's shame they never made Black Adam sets. I could think of a few lego set ideas based on that movie. Justice Society jet, Black Adam chasing hover bikes, and final battle against Sabbac

It's because recently DC hasn't been releasing anything successful that would market the target audience, it was a huge surprise to see the Batman get a few sets in 2022 despite how dark the movie was

They literally disappeared like how the Justice League vanished in the Lego Movie 2 and Batman stayed behind. That's a crazy comparison

I never got any but appreciated the Justice League sets back in 2015 as well as how many DC movies there were. Aside the Lego Batman movie, alot of the older batman sets are to be more appreciated than more recent Batman sets.

I had a dream i was in the Lego store… it was 2007 and I was gazing in awe at all the cool Batman sets… I picked up the killer croc bat boat chase set and looked at my favorite minifig: killer croc… all the sets looked beautiful in the boxes sealed all together sitting on shelf’s waiting to be purchased.

Pre-2020 the dc and marvel sets were goated because almost every one felt like it had a new character or villain that hadn’t been made. Now it is just all batman and joker

It's a case where lego chose to keep the flagship character that will sell ex: Spiderman and batman.
