It’s weird to me hearing that some people hated her at first because I just saw her design and loved that and then I loved her even more because of her personality

it is kinda funny for me, seeing so many people say they hated her until what else can i do (and even after). i’m the eldest child in my family, so I empathised with her and immediately clocked the way she put on a mask to meet everyone’s expectations. The writers and directors did a really good job in subtly portraying that even before she revealed it. Honestly, both Luisa and Isabela were really relatable as older siblings, especially daughters.

I think the fact that when they hugged the candle grew stronger just showed the lack of relationship in their family was what was killing it, because when their house rebuilt they all had a stronger relationship, and Bruno was there considered a part of their family and their connection helped the candle to work.
