For bosses I've been switching Grim feast for SRS and it does a pretty big chunk of damage when I use flamewall, even without fire or minion nodes on the tree

Frost shards and cold snap are a god send. They shotgun and freeze well and then cold snap will one shot most white mobs and blue packs while taking decent chunks out of bosses.

I am also doing lightning sorc and while its great, I am dissapointed how good Spark is compare to other spells becasue other spellls feel overnerfed really. I miss some good chain lighting or Storm or anything more cool.

I wonder if Cold or Fire based Sorc wouldn't be better. Did you try other elements?

Single target damage when bossing feels shit tho, compared to mathil's monk video where he just deletes the boss, i feel like i'm just give the boss a tickle.

I think cold is a lot better than lightning for act 2. Frostbolt + scatter shot + glaciation, cold snap + spell cascade + conc effect, frost bomb + magnified effect + controlled destruction, hypothermia and then grab the first node that gives an additional -20% res for stormweaver. Cold is pretty broken you just need a +3 cold staff with some spell damage, and that combo pretty much just clears. I hear cast on freeze coldsnap is omega broken so I'll find that out soon.

I've been using sparks and the orb at boss fights as a blood mage it's really funny cause it keeps dropping health remnants, a weird way of face tanking 😅
