Drains broken, not just clogged. The pipes are not even connected to the house, then you have a runoff that's blocked, and the pipes tilted up rather than down.
Clearly its someone wanting to save money by bodging it themselves rather than getting it corrected the first time. If anything, bodging stuff costs you more money in the long run.

Sometimes I wonder when grown ups buy houses why they don't have basic knowledge and experience to remove leaves and waste from the down spout? And lint from the vent tube? Or the light bulbs. 😢
As I have grown I have learned simple little things that people pay money for when all you had to do was to pay attention to someone else doing them. Change a tire, check fluids, windshield wipers. The lists go on.
