It's the day before Thanksgiving and James Corden checks in with Reggie Watts and Ian Karmel to see what their plans are, which are modified like most Americans thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. And one of the show's writers, Tom, has to sweat it out to see if his parade float jokes are good enough for him to keep his job.

More Late Late Show:

Watch The Late Late Show with James Corden weeknights at 12:35 AM ET/11:35 PM CT. Only on CBS.

---
Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show. Since Corden took the reigns as host in March 2015, he has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, such as Carpool Karaoke."

... this show has gone off the rails and I’m living for it

I will sorely miss the type of interaction seen here, once the audience comes back. I truly appreciate the intimacy of the environment, and the genuine responses!

All of the late-night folks have done a great job during the pandemic. This show, however, is really making it work! They are obviously having great fun, enjoy hanging out, and their laughter, positivity, and energy are infectious. A real joy to watch!

I love how off the rails and amazing this show has become. It's truly gotten hysterical now. <3

Ok, when James throws a banter to Ian or to any member of the band or crew, is a laugh fest, but when those folks fight back... Gold! Lol

James is like THAT cool Uncle you wish came for every Thanksgiving

Edit: Or the cousin obsessed with one direction

As an English woman who lived in NYC for 18 years, I have to say this had me laughing my head off! Really good James!

The banter is the best thing about these monologues, I didn't watch them that much this time last year, now they're my favourite of all of them :)

Omg I love it when the monologues descend into chaos, its always the best, sitting here in stitches. I hope they keep this format and don't go back to an audience.

Last two weeks of Monologues have been gold, keep this style going!!! This more casual and “just telling jokes” vibe, is so refreshing for late night talk shows

You know what?
I never actually enjoyed watching this show before, but after quarantine i've been binge-watching this, especially for the monologues.
This format is so much more enjoyable and the banter between James and the crew feels just right.
It also feels funnier !

To anyone reading :sending virtual hugs to everyone who need it :)

idk what to comment because i've never been early before xd

I don't know why it took me so long to "tune in" on James Corden. He is always good to me for a daily good laugh or two. sppreciated.
