With a government potentially shutting down in eight days, Bloomberg's Laura Davison and Gregory Korte discuss whether or not the US government has a completed top line budget deal ready, as it is not clear if Speaker Johnson will continue with the deal or go back on it and do something to please the more conservative members of his party. Shut the government down. We the people don't need that much government. We are republic and people forget that we are not a democracy.. we need to close the borders if our government is not going to do what our constitution requires of them. We the people must protect ourselves. Johnson needs to stand firm not make any bipartisan deals. He's their speaking for the people and the people want the government shut down until they close our southern border

is it not better we have a shut down.. that too for a long long time like one year at least... what is the use of getting some action on southern border if the price to pay for it is some 65 billion for ukraine?
