The Morosini death really struck a chord with me. To lose his parents before he was eighteen, then to lose his brother to suicide and have to be the only one to take care of his older disabled sister.

Thankfully, after Piermario’s death, one of his teammates decided to take care of the sister when Morosini passed away. However the whole build-up to the story of Piermario Morosini was tragic; absolutely heartbreaking.

To me, guys like Morosini, Christian Atsu, Cheick Tiote, Emiliano Sala, Patrick Ebeng, Jody Lukoki, and others who have died tragically while living their fullest life possible are the real heroes. Death was never on their minds; just doing what they loved was all that mattered.

To you all, may the heavens be further blessed… 😢
