The main reason I avoid off shoulder clothing is that curvy women need bras! That’s not possible with a shoulder - revealing top.

Amazing difference wearing the right silhouette makes.

Thank you for putting a video for shorter curvy women. We see so many ads or videos for taller straighter types of bodies, it can be frustrating and discouraging.

Thank you! I’m so tired of being petite with large bust! It’s so limiting with fashion choices 😢

I needed this video so much! I’m 5’4” and curvy, and could never figure out why certain things look terrible on me. Now I get it! Please make more of these. I have a casual WFH lifestyle so casual everyday clothing ideas that still look good would help me so much.

For turtle neck long sleeve shirts (not sweaters!), you can minimize the undesirable effect by wearing a v neck fitted vest overtop in a contrasting colour. The V will draw the eye away. You can experiment with U shaped and square shaped neck lined vests too. It works for some people. It really depends on your body frame. The Kibbe system will give you a headache on all the different types of body frames.

Chi, this is MY BODY too! Everything made me look like a tree stump until I figured out a few of these tips on my own. I have also been on a quest to lose weight. I now have lost more than 45 pounds, and I am starting to see my true proportions. I am petite, large chest, short torso, but otherwise I have a balanced proportions to my figure. Love your videos!

This is the video that I've been looking for. 😅 The model's stats are the same as mine. I can finally understand why some trends just don't work on me. Thanks Chi! ❤

Thanks so much. I’m 5’ and curvy. This is very helpful. I tend to let the “tent” thing happen because I feel I should accent the bust area, but these tips make a lot of sense and it’s SO HELPFUL to have someone who looks more similar to my shape.

Yeah, not liking the belt hack look for the summer dresses - still looks a little frumpy; however, I totally appreciate you providing options so that we don't have to throw out the dress. I love your insight and ideas on how to look more flattering. In fact, I plan to do a closet purge, and this helps me so much to decide what I should donate. I'm always thinking - maybe if I lost more weight - but it just might be the style itself that isn't flattering.

As a curvy(-ish) petite woman I agree with everything you say, however, I don't always want to look "slimmer"! I love voluminous cropped sweaters (and cargo pants) because they are so stylish and comfy, and I don't care if I appear "bigger" to some people. Sometimes it even can be a compliment, since I lift weights and my gains are my hard work!

Thank you so much for representing my body type! I've honestly felt frumpy and unattractive with this shape, but your video inspired me to change my style and find something that works for me. Even if it takes some time I know I'll find the right pieces that both flatter and comfort me.

Thanks!

Can you do short and pear shape (thin but longer waist with thick thighs and butt)! I likely already know the tips but I love the validation when you post as the expert and maybe have other ideas 😂

I LOVE the models you are using! They are pretty and different sizes and your recommendations totally make sense on them.

Thank you for demonstrating actual "curvy", not obese being called curvy. Somehow, in the last couple of decades, curvy became a euphemism for overweight and obese. I'm curvy. Busy with hips. I'm about 5 feet tall. I'm not overweight or obese. Definitely curvy.

I love the long pink dress 🤩 The neckline, waist and sleeves are all very flattering. I love those futtery butterfly short sleeves as sometimes I do not like the size of my upper arms 😅 These look nice, are breezy in hot weather and cover without being tight.

I love how you don’t just tell us what to wear you explain it perfectly! 😊

lovely tips. However, as a petite bottom heavy woman myself, I don't feel all the above tips are applicable to my body type. Would love to see a similar video for bottom heavy petite women. TIA!

❤ thank you! I'm 5'2" and a 38FF. I've always hidden behind loose flowy outfits. You've inspired me to wear a belt and more fitted dresses.
