One of the reasons to be cremated, is to escape the thought that your body will one day undergo a less desirable decay process.
Another reason may be a desire to avoid being eaten by someone else. (ref. cannibalism).

All I know is when my time is up I better be reunited with my dog like real fast or I'm gonna be pissed. My doggie passed 5 years ago and lifes been a real bummer ever since.

O, waw Phillip how cohesive I was thinking about that just a day ago and actually would like to discuss with my family that whans I pass my earth surveillance want my physical body to be burned not buried.
