Pretty innacurate to put half a British flag at the start. Better off starting with the blank map and having the flag eat its way in instead of the clear fog thing. The British didn’t even know about or lay claim to most of these places, not even venturing away from the coastal areas until the 1830s. Nor could they claim they owned the whole continent when there was entire cultures of people living there who they hadn’t even met or invaded their territories and tried to wipe them out yet. You can’t just lay claim to an entire continent when you haven’t even been to seen, invaded or settled 90% of the land mass.
