I was hoping you were going to tell me how to stop the negative thoughts! I know I have negative thoughts, plenty of them, and I think it's the single biggest factor in my scoring on any given day. It's not about my skills, but my ability to use my skills without the interference of anxiety and doubt! I haven't found the key yet, but I'd pay good money to know how to do it.

It is based on a famous Zen story, as to whether one is an angry person all the time, which the student tells the master that they were not all time. But a great reinterpretation for the game of golf. The tees will eventually stay in the right pocket (hopefully). 😊 It is a good physical reminder in a match! Went out today, 10 tees moved, but played well over 13 hole (shortened by weather) match against my wife, with two incredible scrabbling pars to start with and always staying ahead to win! Currently off 9 playing HCP (8.2 WHS). Half the tees moved over putts less than five feet. I know social doesn't count, but still interesting, no double bogeys. Great distraction in a real match.
