In this video, I’ll guide you through designing a sleek, modern table in SketchUp, adding decorative items like a vase and lamp on top for visual appeal. These objects are added for display purposes only. Let’s dive into the steps to create a professional table design in SketchUp.

Step 1: Setting Up SketchUp
Open SketchUp, preparing your workspace for table modeling. Make sure the essential tools, such as Rectangle and Push/Pull, are ready to use.

Step 2: Creating the Table Surface
Start by drawing a rectangle for the tabletop. Use the Push/Pull tool to add thickness, creating a solid, stylish tabletop with no visible legs.

Step 3: Designing the Lower Support Structure
To support the tabletop, create a lower shelf-like structure. Draw another rectangle below the tabletop and adjust its height and thickness using the Push/Pull tool.

Step 4: Adding Decorative Elements
For added style, I’ve placed a lamp and vase on the tabletop. These elements weren’t created here but are added solely for display purposes, enhancing the table’s visual appeal.

Step 5: Applying Materials and Colors
Choose appropriate materials and colors for a modern look. Apply darker shades for the tabletop and contrast it with a slightly lighter shade for the lower part.

Step 6: Finalizing the Design
Inspect your table model for any alignment issues or unwanted edges, making adjustments as needed for a polished look.
