Maybe Intel noticed that Nvidia isn't launching anything at around that price, and some people would refuse to buy 2 year old products so they're launching the A770

man i LOVE your tech news on this channel as well as the real world testing (with GPU's), you are incredibly consistant and highly underrated!

realistically if intel can provide 3060 ti performance at that price then it would be a win for intel.

The 5800X3D has brought so great of a smack down that AMD itself is afraid of it. I mean just look at it. Butter smooth frame times.

Although Intel isn't exactly known for their reasonable prices.. Maybe they'll undercut Nvidia a bit or offer some mid-level/mainstream options that pull people away from Nvidia's launch, since the 4090 is $1599 minimum. People looking to upgrade now, but not wanting to burn that kind of money might be keen to grab a card in the $500-700 ($329 for the a770? Not a bad price point) range from Intel instead.

What's funny to me is from what I've seen people are so optimistic towards the Intel GPUs (even though we've seen they're not good) while being so negative about AMD GPUs (even though we've seen they're actually good now). 😂

I gotta say, the 5800x3d looks better and better every single day. Unbelievable for -300mhz from a 5800x and ddr4 only. Too powerful!

There really aren't any bad CPU's at this time.
I am finding the longer life of the AMD series sockets has meant more to me at this point because I have used the upgrade path.

I'm also really liking the low power-to-performance of my 5950X after my upgrade, it actually uses less power while transcoding video at 2.5x faster than my old 2700X.
I probably won't be considering an upgrade for CPU for 2-3 more years.

I've been messing around with xess on a 3070, it's interesting in SoTR, there are some advantages over dlss I can see, but in Death Stranding it looks like dlss wins pretty big.

Something VERY interesting I discovered in Death Stranding at 1440p is that quality fsr 2.0 looks noticeably crisper than quality dlss although fsr 2.0 doesn't gain as much fps. At 4k I think it's mostly a draw for image quality maybe favoring dlss a hair. But the fsr beating it out for image quality at 1440p is a nice surprise.

The other nice thing about fsr 2.0 is that increasing the sharpness slider doesn't cause ringing on edges the way DLSS does when you increase its sharpness.

This past week seems like a big commercial for the 5800X3D chip

How's excited about the 4090? Excited to see the benchmarks? I guess. To purchase? Fuck no. I'd be more excited to buy a new Intel GPU than the new 40-series.

As the 7000 series is also sometimes better or ties the 5800x3d, it looks like raptor lake will be about in the same ballpark as the 7000 series in gaming... Until the 7***x3d gets released...

Because of your hairstyle and green screen, the top of your head looks like PS1 low-poly graphics. Can't unsee it xD

And no the 13900K is only like 150 USD more expensive than the 5800X3D, so not that much. It only gets expensive if you buying a totally new system.

Thanks for talking about Readeon chill several months ago. Use it with my 6800 XT and has lowered temps on hotspot by 20 C when playing cyberpunk.
