Hey guys we just installed the security update and it does seem like Google has fixed the fingerprint reading speed. Sometimes even a quick tap works. Will further test the battery and see if they have fixed that too.

If there are better phones out there then tell me which phone has a better camera than this? After going through many comparisons of it with iphone 13 pro max and s21 ultra, i find pixel 6 pro photos better. If you can suggest me a better camera phone then please let me know?

Post December update my pixel 6 feels like reborn and it's well optimised and the fingerprint scanner definetly is faster and consistent

As with MOST YouTube channels who complain about the fingerprint sensor on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, the example of the fingerprint sensor not working is because they are NOT USING IT CORRECTLY! Placing your finger half off the sensor will not allow your fingerprint to be correctly captured by the camera. This is an "optical" sensor, meaning it uses a camera and a light to light up your fingerprint and allow the camera to capture the image of your fingerprint and match it with the image stored on your device. If your finger is not within the viewing area of the camera, it will not be able to detect and capture your fingerprint. This is no different than expecting Apple's Face ID to work if you only show half of your face (i.e., wearing a mast). Because of so many of these review videos improperly showing the use of the fingerprint sensor, I have created a video myself to show exactly how to set up and use the fingerprint sensor on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. I have had absolutely no problems using the fingerprint sensor on my Pixel 6 Pro since day one, because I'm using it properly.

Any phone above 1K is overhyped. Thankfully I got the regular 6 at a lower exchange rate for SGD915. It's a much better deal and it's still cheaper than an iPhone 13. Android 12 has its initial release issues. But so does IOS 15. It's just a bad year for phones and software in general. Both sides need to be polished.

Finally, a realistic review of this phone. There was an absolute frenzy re this phones release. It’s just ok. I will admit that the P6 is a good value, if u like a large phone. The crippled fingerprint sensor is a non-starter for me.
