Hey, if any of yall are missing your family today - I am too. ❤️ and if you wish a toxic family member could be there but they just refuse to get along, I ALSO feel that way. Today can be hard on us, but it's truly the little things that's gonna keep us out of a bad place today. For me it's pumpkin pie. That shiiii sent me into a comfortable coma and I'm about to take a SHAMELESS nap, because this isn't a depression nap, it's a food coma nap. We get our naps today yall. Hang in there. ❤️

I miss doing this with my 2 sisters, my mom and my Grandmother, 2 sister in laws. I'm the oldest now and mum and granny are gone, my sisters are far and sil are no more. Sad that none of the kids( age 42 to 30) want to do this. Yes, miss it alot. Count your blessings, please.

Some of my fondest memories are of my mom making the pies the day before Thanksgiving . She used to make apple, pumpkin, pecan, and mincemeat. While she was doing the pies…she also was preparing the cornbread for her stuffing. She was a great southern cook.❤️
