Impressive, when you consider the standards are usually set to target the top 5% and bottom 5%. Really interesting as well to see where a person, no matter how strong, struggles due to size, anyone as short and light as her is going to struggle with the events like the MDL, Sprint/drag/carry, and standing power throw. Saw even super fit smaller guys have trouble with those events just due to their lighter weight/shorter height.

The alternate events (row) is only for Soldiers who have a physical injury preventing them from running, in which case they require a written profile from a military doctor stating which alternate event they can do (row, swim, bike). If you're a fit cat with nothing preventing you from running (except, perhaps, your own mental block), then you have to do the 2 mile run.

"Bags" decades ago I trained in a Hard full contact jodo. I only remember feeling similar training. I am 65 now, you train make we want to give up bad habits and bust my ass to train again!

Get it. On the push ups. You can twist your hands in or out and it works different muscles.... just information. Explode up and drop to the bottom.

They should have the scores relative to total body weight I bet no one would have been close to you Demi. BTW not sure if you row much but you should check out info on catch versus recovery ratio you would have probably got that last one easier.

When the ACFT first came out, minimums for the exercises were based on MOS. Now the minimums are the same Army wide, but they shouldn’t be. If you sit at a desk, sure I wouldn’t expect peak fitness from you, but if you have an MOS that is physically demanding, there needs to be higher minimums. It’s great SM influencers are doing the ACFT, but I would like to see them held to the same movement standards for the exercises as we are. Bad form or uncontrolled movement is a not counted. Good on you for getting after it though 🤙🏼
