Tip to my fellow hypermobility gals:
Don’t scorn the lanyard. Our joints get strained over time — trust me, I’m 54 and my shoulders and knees feel much older. Use tips and tricks like these to go a bit easier on yourself 🌸

Good tip, but more importantly, CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT DRESS!?! It's fantastic, and fabulous on you.

I love imagining you just stressing in your house thinking about all the poor women in the world who may be stuck in their dress at this very moment 😂 not all heroes wear capes. But everyone who wears a dress is a hero. No cap.

I have a romper with a back zip and wrist injury. I started hanging a necklace on the back zip so I could leave it there all night and it looks cute. It's easy to unzip, still kinda tricky to zip back up.

I do have octopus arms, but I also have five lanyards, so if I have a particularly difficult dress or I hurt my arm or something, I won't need to worry! Thanks!

I've been thinking for a while about doing something like this but leaving it on permanently, because I have a progressive muscle disorder and my hands can't keep hold of little things like zips very well anymore. All this to say that these tips are great for some disabled people, too.

This is brilliant. Maybe also a safety pin could work for fastening it to the zip? Never tried it but it’s just an idea haha

How about buttons? Had to help someone at work today with the button on the back of their shirt, I'm curious if you also have tips!

I love these tips even though I personally can just sort of pop out my shoulder to do the thing and then pop it back in (exaggerated explanation of what the hypermobile version of octopus arms feels like lol)

That's such a good idea!!!! I've never thought of that omg. What about those dresses with the beaded zipper pulls?
