2.8% is a great amount! Especially if you have 100k+ in total prop firm capital. That’s over 2k a month for just taking signals. Especially when you get in the range of 500k+ in total prop firm capital that’s 14k a month! A lot of traders are greedy and really need to appreciate the small gains and focus on building their account/prop firm capital.

Seems like an unnecessary amount of risk to take. Maybe if you are young with a lot of time to save / invest, and you have a reliable income each month then it’s ok to use a small amount of net worth on this. But overall highly risky. Risk vs reward argument. Investing in an s&p 500 fund would be a lot safer form of investment.

Nope very bad risk management. It’s just a breakout strategy. Let me tell u … try back testing this. Break of high or low in higher timeframe any side. Just enter and exit just for 10 pips u will have 95% win rate. Try it 😅
