Frostpunk 2 - Chapter 1 Start - City Starter Guide - Best Start (I hope!) - Tutorial LP - EP1

Frostpunk 2 has finally released, and was not entirely what I expected - that's not a bad thing though, as this is a very challenging game with new systems that I have found very fun to learn. It's definitely still a city builder, but it veers off into a different direction than what we expect from city builders, allowing you to build large sprawling cities through building districts. You need to build districts and buildings, manage your resources and stockpiles, exploration, district adjacency, research, political factions, passing laws, the bitter cold of the Frostland, storms, building colonies - and ample other new game systems.

Since I had some major troubles wrapping my head around the new systems introduced by this game, I figured I would make my Lets Play series as a tutorial series - where I explain the systems that I have discovered and I try to teach you how to hopefully succeed at surviving the harsh Frostlands and build a prospering city!

For the first housing district you can put 3 slot in the blue and 3 slot out and do the same for the other 3 slot in and the 3 other slot next to the other 3 slot so it will be -40 for both cuz -20 for the hole and -20 for being next to each other and you can do it on both side so it makes 4 housing district that are using 0 heat

What happened to your memoriapolis playthrough? I was really looking forward to seeing it continued, especially after you set up such a strong foundation of resource collection.

Would it not be better to build 2 housing districts in the sheltered from the wind areas? You only need 3 hexes to get the bonus heat, so each of those zones can support 2 districts. Then you've got the stable crevasses, with two that can support 2 districts, and one that can support 3.

Really like the way this play through is going! Did you have a little mic trouble on this one? It’s like your voice sometimes drops out really briefly.

you play it really slow tbh (like in week 20 not having sience unlocked when you can do that till week 10) but for beginners this is probably a great showcase of the first real story missions start. no hate or anything nice video! cheers.
