alt + up or down arrow (make line(s) up or down)
ctrl + backspace (delete the whole word directly)
ctrl + L (selects the entire line)

my favourite overall shortcut it (ctrl + shift + p) - lol! but in this video - it has to be lorem ipsum generated text, it helps a lot!
