This issue really annoyed me then i found a solution on how to fix it. its easy and it REALLY WORKED 100% TO MY PHONE. I'm just sharing it for those who need it. pls comment or like. thanks for watching.

I don't know how this worked but it did !
My power button was dead, completely disconnected, I used Gin and after about 2 minutes it started responding then after about 15 it was working every click.
Saved me changing the internal ribbon - Top work mate.

This trick did nothing to my power button, but cleaned it very well LOL!!!

Both my home and power button were not working, my phone started having gliches because of this, and i tryed your idea on mu power button and it worked lol your a life saver i recomended this to people i know with messed up power buttons lol 👍

Few days ago, I accidentally dropped an object over my iphone 5 which gave its power button glitch, At first I thought of replacing the power button but most of the videos requires to change it with the entire flex cable which I don't think I should bother. I tried going to the stores and unfortunately our apple providers here can't do anything about this problem yet. I tried asking for checkups at a service centre on any mobile shop which I am required to pay a little bit extra so I decided not to.

Then I came across with your video, and out of all the videos out there, yours is a life saviour. Thank you so much.

It does work! Thank you! Before this i was thinking of changing the flex cable myself, since Apple store in my country does not give this service. Now that i came across your video.. I do not have to go through the hassle! Yay!

I'm sitting here watching this thinking there's no way in hell that's going to work. So i give it a whirl. It's now working about 9 out of 10 times. I'll keep at it. Certainly saves ordering a new cable and taking it apart - which I don't mind doing but this is a quick and painless fix! Good job!

This works, my phone just randomly showed the power off thing on my screen and I cancelled it. Than I tried to turn it off the the button wouldn't work, so I saw this video and it works 100%, but u have to wait a second after doing it. Thanks 😊

Is this just for stuck power button, or for ones that won't turn off the phone when u press it even tho it does feel like it's moving normally when u pressed it?
