I remember playing one of the original games 20 years ago and during the part where you climb castle walls I was just awestruck by how awesome it looked. Coming from NES Mario games that was such a next gen moment for me. Very excited for this. Comparing this to Hollow Knight is very high praise indeed.

The map memory is the king of QOL, built as an actual mechanic. If this was in, for example symphony of the night, the amount of hours I would have saved, granted that game is years old and still imo the best "metroidvania" period, it would have been nice to have.

I remember when Ubisoft showed this off and the reaction for it was very cold because everyone is waiting on the 3D Prince Of Persia, but i thought it looked great, and this just cemented that fact. This looks dope as hell.

This is absolutely awesome! I love the concept of a metrovania for this series. The music was kind of a small call back to warrior within’s guitar heavy but instead it more subtle on this game. The bosses look amazing! Towering hulking masses of hurt and pain reminiscent of hollow light, blasphemous, and symphony of the night. This game is definitely on the wish list

Imma a huge fan this series. I wasn't gonna play this but after watching you play, it will be fun and challenging. Not a big fan of linear games but this one isn't just a straight line. Being able to go up and down makes it more interesting. Thanks Cowboy. 💯

Wow, it looks so good! The 1st trailer they showed during SGF, I believe, truly did the game a disservice. I especially like that you can customise it to make it easier or harder. I'm a huge fan of Ender Lilies, but Hollow Knight seems too scary to play because I'm just not that dexterous. However, I like how the exploration feels in metroidvanias, so I've been in a difficult spot. Not when it comes to this game, though, it seems!

Loved Prince of Persia when I was a kid, nice to see a new game in the series after so long and it’s cool that they’re going back to the 2d style. Kinda wish you actually played as the Prince, (because as far as I know the protagonist in this game isn’t him), but that’s not a huge deal I guess. This looks fun!
