NeNe Leakes Isn't Coming Back...

NeNe Leakes isn't coming back to Real Housewives of Atlanta anytime soon or maybe never. It's time we accept it for what it is. Her lawsuit with Bravo and NBC isn't helping. I think it's best that she doesn't come back she doesn't need the show and if she comes back and it flops it will make her look bad.

If Nene was asked to come back, it wouldn’t be the same. Her husband passed away, her son had medical issues and the other one has drug issues. I don’t want to see that as part of her storyline. 😔

People say a lot about her but Phaedra played the game right. She didn’t bash the show when she was fired. Then we saw them slowly sneak her back in..her first comeback was on a WWHL special, then ultimate girls trip (she did 2 but 1 didn’t air), an appearance on RHODUBAI, M2M, TRAITORS, DWTS..etc AND NOW she’s about to be back on RHOA. Phaedra clearly has an amazing relationship with BRAVO, NBC & PEACOCK..which is good because all 3 intertwine. She played it smart after being fired from RHOA years ago and we have YET to hear her say anything negative or damaging about the network.

Totally agree with you, it's always best to leave on a high note. She's done so much for the Bravo, NBC network and the Housewives franchise and I think there's nothing there for her anymore. Although I'd like to see Nene on our screens again, the RHOA ship has sailed.

I'm excited that she's stepping out and away from RHOA and doing her own thing.

6:15 I’ve been saying this since Day 1. It’s NOT up to Andy. It never was. She named the Parent Company (NBC Universal & Comcast) in her lawsuit! Once a ‘talent’ files a lawsuit or proves themselves to be a liability, then the Network has to answer to its Shareholders. No one person (or Talent) is given precedent over the bottom line ($$$). Shareholders are only interested in the bottom line. Nene proved herself a liability in her final season with Snakegate when she tried to get Yohanna to collaborate with her against Cynthia (which blew up in her face), she didn’t want to film in Greece, she spit ‘at’ Kenya, let’s not forget her laying hands on pregnant Porsha in the closet, she closed her laptop during the reunion- she showed her azzzz! She also had no problem working for Bravo until she didn’t get what she wanted AND then she sued and went on a public campaign against Bravo. GTFOH!

No one is surprised about the things in Nene's lawsuit. But, you can't work for the white man and then complain when your time is up, especially since she sped her own time up on the show.

💯 on everything you said. Bravo/NBC is not bringing her back. I feel like a lot of people who want that "Old Nene" clearly didn't watch her last season. She was completely miserable, negative, and not entertaining at all. Those old times have passed, and they aren't the same people they were a decade ago. I do believe she wants to come back, but it's best she try her hand at something different. We don't even know if housewives will be a thing in the next few years. 🫤

The folks might want Phaedra back, but they're going to be disappointed because one thing Phaedra isn't going to give is...her. Phaedra survived on RHOA because she had her nemesis Kenya, which helped her carry a storyline for years. Then it was Kandi. She has no "nemisis" to help her, just her. Phaedra is private. So what's her storyline? Being a funeral director? Being a lawyer? That was 10 yrs ago. Just like Nene, I think that chapter is closed. Y'all hanging on to Phaedra vs. Kenya, and I don't think yall are getting that.

They need a whole new crop of women. Middle 30's, married etc.

Watching Phaedra have to dumb herself down to interact with Heavenly makes me miss the glory days of RHOA. I miss good high level Read-Offs & not Yo Momma jokes or a bunch of hollering & screaming.
