Both of you are inspiring! Videos like this motivate me to keep giving music my all despite many of the decisions being risky. When you discuss most people not wanting to sacrifice small pleasures like fast food, partying etc in order to invest more in their creative work – the voice inside me just shouted "I DO!".
It's so strange to start noticing how many super talented and passionate creatives still shy away from making any serious investments or leaps of faith to try and turn that hobby into a career. I don't think people realise you won't make big jumps forward without making bold moves with your level of commitment. I understand many people see it as gambling when the stakes are high, but it seems clear to me now that you've got to invest and believe in your work before anyone else will follow suit.
