Muscles turning into bones has to be the scariest fucking thing ever

Geez. For someone who's adopted, she looks a lot like her parents.

She seems like a really nice person. Hopefully she gets cured, and ends up living a long and healthy life.

Why do bullies make fun of people with disabilities? It never made sense to me. If a kid in your grade had one arm, people know life is more tough for them, yet instead of helping... I just don't understand.

her mom and dad are a LEGEND for adopting her and never gave up on her

Wow it's scary to know that one misdiagnose can lead to having your arm amputated.

Oh my god, I used to know her personally! She was such a sweetheart. I remember when I worked at Walmart in Peachtree City, I would see her on many days.

On Halloween of either 2009 or 2010, she actually wore fake blood where her arm was missing, which I thought was such a bold and daring thing to do. I hope things are getting better for her.

Her positive energy overshadows her disease.

I have a friend with FOP. She can't raise her arms above her head and one of her legs seems to be getting a little stiff. Over the last couple years, she's been struggling with depression, but she's honestly one of the cheeriest people I know. I really hope that if it ever does get worse, that she can have high spirits like this woman and keep pushing on.

I clicked on this video thinking I'd see something tragic, I'm glad I was wrong. She's so uplifting. Good for her.

Watching videos like this makes me realize how strong the human spirit can be. Because I know if I had this condition, or some of the ones that are put on this channel... I probably wouldn't be able to cope.

"Oops! Cut a baby's arm off! Better recheck my charts" says the doctor *facepalm*

Isn’t it odd how the people who go through so much have the most beautiful attitudes? It takes tragedy to realize how happy you got to be. Bless this woman! I hope she stays positive.

I wonder why bullies didn't like her. You have to see a person for their personality. She seems like a sweet person.
