I love your kit! I don't color code, so I'd have dumped the multi-pen for a highlighter but that's all personal to the user. Enjoying your series on bujos very much!

The sloppiness is because the ink and the ball flow so quickly on the page and your hand muscles have to get used to apply more control. Some solutions could be paper with more feedback, like copy paper, leuchtturm paper is still a bit smooth, or a pen body with more weight, specially towards the tip.

Omg you are so right about the hobo pens making your writing sloppy! I still love them but they totally do this! I think because they are so smooth on the page or something, so my hand gets lazy and loses control and gets all scribbly. I still love them though hehe. I just won't be able to read my writing in 20 years oh well 😂
