Liebherr - LR 1800-1.0: Strong like bull!

Outstanding load capacities and low cost transport around the world are the main features of the new LR 1800-1.0 crawler crane. It has been designed as a particularly powerful industrial crane for jobs with a luffing jib and derrick system, for example for power plant construction and the petrochemicals industry. The new Liebherr 800-tonne crane is currently the most powerful crawler crane on the market with a basic machine just 3 metres wide.

While it wasn't this particular one, I saw a similar crawler crane of massive size. Construction side took days to assemble this massive crane. But it only took a few hours to lift one bridge segment into place. Then another few days to disassemble the massive crawler crane. So much time put into preparation and clearing of a construction site just for one single simple lift job. But the bridge segment needed the massive crane so... I guess there were no other choices. I believe it was a Liebherr crane too.
