People are finding it weird (or probably dumb) that I've built my P-61 around Engine Armor and Reinforced Airframe. Yet with a custom-build pilot having Defensive Expert, Engine Guru I+II, plus with High-Octane Additive engine consumable it is a really viable build and engine only gets knocked out like, once a battle. For other airframe slot I have Polished Skin (LWF not needed imo), total HP with pilot's Defensive Expert is 896, excellent for bomber hunting/soloing bomber flights.
Also I've been using same pilot as an afterthought for the P-51A, and it also has Engine Armor, and using the chromo camo plus above-mentioned consumable to give cruise speed. Other equipments are LWF and a Boost Mixture. It is a really good build for the Mustang, but people don't wan to accept there are other viable ways of using equipments for fighter-type planes than speed and maneuverability.
