Full Lyrics to "You'll be Back"
You say the price of my love's not a price that you're willing to pay
You cry in your tea which you hurl in the sea when you see me go by
Why so sad?
Remember we made an arrangement when you went away
Now you're making me mad
Remember despite our estrangement, I'm your man

You'll be back
Soon you'll see
You'll remember you belong to me
You'll be back
Time will tell
You'll remember that I served you well

Oceans rise, empires fall
We have seen each other through it all
And when push comes to shove,
I will send a fully armed battalion to remind you of my love

Da dada da da
Da dadada dayada
Dada da da dayada

Da dada da da
Da dadada dayada
Dada da da da

You say our love is draining and you can't go on
You'll be the one complaining when I am gone

And, no, don't change the subject
'Cause you're my favorite subject
My sweet, submissive subject
My loyal, royal subject
Forever and ever and ever and ever and ever

You'll be back
Like before
I will fight the fight and win the war
For your love
For your praise
And I'll love you till my dying days

When you're gone, I'll go mad
So don't throw away this thing we had
'Cause when push comes to shove
I will kill your friends and family to remind you of my love

Da dada da da
Da dadada dayada
Dada da da dayada

Da dada da da
Da dadada dayada
Dada da

Everybody!

Da dada da da
Da dadada dayada
Dada da da dayada

Da dada da da
Da dadada dayada
Dadada da da dayada

It sure would be different if the King was in the White House now days.

My history teacher showed us this video today, he makes learning U.S history so fun his summary for the Declaration of Independence was “two countries were to toxic so one said hey we’re over” love it

I like the Royal Equerry's facial expression—it is as if they wanted to cry!

This is quality and I enjoy the dancing... But there's something about King George standing still and expressing fully through his face and voice that is so chilling and perfect.

Disney better be taking notes from these videos for when they actually make the movie

I sing this in the shower, every night, 10p.m. for a year. My neighbors in my complex JUST HAVE to think I'm crazy, but I love this song So much! Thanks for sharing your love with it too. Great job to all!

He is so much fun. The funny thing, though, is that King George almost never dressed like this in real life! He was so interested in farming and wore such simple clothing that one of his nicknames was “Farmer George.” He was constantly worried about gaining weight because it ran in the family (and there were MUCH fatter members of the family, believe me, including his son George IV, who was just gross). They still have some of the clothes he wore later in life when he was ill, and it’s just heartbreaking. He got enormous and needed help just eating and going to the bathroom like a baby. I recommend “The Madness of King George” for a totally different angle on him.
That said, Hamilton’s version is hilarious.

The guy playing King George is totally slaying it! It just matches to both hilarity and menace at the same time. Plus I'm loving the servants reactions throughout the song. It's priceless!

This made me laugh so hard 🤣🤣🤣, I can`t see anyone but this man as King George III anymore, and the facial expression off pain and fear of the pages was priceless! thanks for such an amazing video to everyone that worked on it, I hope that if Hamilton gets a movie they make it as good as you are doing.

My history showed us this two days ago. I love it. He shows us songs about different things in history and they are either good like this or bad, but i love this one. Thank you, Mr. S.

Our 5th grade Social Studies class is studying the Road to the American Revolutionary War, and we were able to use this song to illustrate what the King was doing to the people! Thanks so much for this. We would love a shout out! Mrs. Stewart's Class Estella Elementary in Huntsville, Texas!
