The all new 2023 Topps Chrome Update set is here and I'm trying to figure out what format is the best bang for your buck. Is it the Topps Chrome Update Hobby Box, Jumbo Box or Breakers Delight box?

I open a box of all 3 Topps Chrome Update hobby boxes to see what cards we can sell on eBay as part of the eBay Challenge Video series. 2023 Topps Chrome Hobby Boxes sold for $140 on the Topps website, the Topps Chrome Update Breakers Delight Boxes sold for $270 and the 2023 Topps Chrome Update Jumbo Boxes sold for $340. I am going to list all of the non common cards from each format on eBay to see how much I can make back on the each format of 2023 Topps Chrome Update.

In a follow up video, I will post the results so we can find out how mach value their really is in each format and we'll find out exactly how much bang for your buck is in each box of 2023 Topps Chrome Update.

As a set builder, hobby is the way to go

If your breaking to hit value/hold to keep value, buy to grade and that’s it, you’ll buy your way into a hole.
Selling, and setting up a business allows tax incentives/write offs. It’s saved me.

I opened it yesterday and pulled a Garrett Mitchell short print auto that’s probably worth around 200 to 300 dollars

My first hobby box of this product was great. I bought a second hobby and it was terrible. I don't think I'll buy a jumbo box but I think blasters are the best way to go. I wish the checklist was better because it's mostly pitchers in the set. They could have put Elly in this set I think.

Yeah don’t worry people don’t hold back selling cards with print lines. Some people suck

I pulled the Adley sp variation and an Adley magenta parallel out of my first hobby box. I would not buy a jumbo box because you can do just as good or better from a hobby box. That breakers delight box was brutal. I would never pay that much for 12 cards with only 2 autos included. Not a delight.

Agree. All these updates are money grabs from Topps/Fanatics. Much rather spend that money on singles. So many people want the new shiny stuff in hopes of pulling a big auto. Good luck!!!

My opinion this is a money grab from topps. Auto checklist is huge and it’s a bunch of 30 year old rookies and sticker autos… some ppl may like it. It’s not for me. I may pick up some singles off of eBay

Are you for real, this does not prove anything, because all the boxes are different cards inside, you can get a hot box, or a cold box. So your little challenge is proof of zero, if you got a good box, all it proves it that you got a good box, it does not mean they are all going to be good, you could buy one and get a bad box.
