Hi guys!

I can’t thank you enough for the immense outpouring of support and kind words. I didn’t anticipate how emotional posting the video—and seeing your reactions—would be haha 😭.

That being said, I’m temporarily disabling Super Thanks on my channel.

I am so, so grateful for your kindness, but I just don’t feel right accepting donations.

It’s hard to explain without being long-winded, but I would never want to ask my audience for financial support like this.

I’m not rich by any means, but I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what it must be like for most people to recover from catastrophes without insurance.

After the fire, I spent hours reading stories from house fire survivors. That night, I couldn’t sleep at all—I watched hours of footage, read stories on Reddit, and poured over the latest news. Most of the fire stories I came across were far more devastating than my own.

One that stuck with me was about a young man who also ran back into his home multiple times to save his pets. Unlike my boyfriend, he was burned from head to toe in the process. He survived, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s still in the hospital to this day. His life was forever changed by the same situation.

Many people are displaced for years, face extensive medical bills, and somehow have to put their lives back together while returning to work almost immediately.

I, on the other hand, experienced the “best-case, worst-case scenario.” I had savings. I had support. And most importantly, everyone survived.

So with that in mind, please save your donations for Doritos vs. Docherty or whatever haha. I may really need your help one day lol.

But today, I’m 100% fine. I’m doing well! Things are mostly back to normal for me - and I’m very confident everything will be okay <3

Your support in the comments, watching my videos, liking and sharing is all the support I need - I'm committed to bringing you guys more and more content so we can continue to grow, together

Thank you again, so very much. I’m very grateful & lucky to have you all<3

My uncle was a firefighter for 34 years. To this days he still says, "it's astounding exactly how fast fire moves. It's like a living, breathing thing."

I should note here that life is fully back to normal now and I'm all good! It happened in the summer - I had to take a few months to process before I shared!
Thank you so much for all your kind words and support 💜So SO happy to be back 🙏 This video is actually the official end to the fire chapter in my mind for me - so all is well now!

Hope this helps. I’m only a casual watcher of your content but I understand what you’re going through and I was moved to do something to help. Take care.

When you mentioned something in the garage catching fire, I got a little chill. When I was 16 our water heater caught fire in the middle of the night. It was in the garage and was out of nowhere. Luckily my sister and Dad were downstairs staying up late while my Dad was teaching her chess. Because of this they smelled just a little bit of smoke, probably also because of a cat door which let a little bit of air through. Because there were two of them, my Dad went to check it out. He found the fire before the walls caught, and was able to put it out. Every so often it hits me just how lucky we all got -- how in just another hour, one which we could have easily all slept through -- things could have been much worse. I'm impressed by your strength and positive outlook, and I hope you continue to keep your head held high, but know that it is ok to grieve whats gone as well.

House fires terrify me. One of my worst fears, especially with pets. Things can be replaced, and people know to get out on their own... pets sometimes don't. I'm so glad the whole family is okay.

Thank goodness the pets are okay, I was on the edge of my seat when you were talking about the story. I hope this is enough to buy a coffee for you both.

“ YOU DON’T KNOW MY CATS ! “ 🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛🐈As a cat person I got and felt that to my core. I am so proud of your boyfriend trying to save them too. So happy all of you are safe and sound.

I'm sure the firefighter who proclaimed your cats weren't coming out was relieved. He didn't want them to be lost, but given all you had lost and all your pain I'm sure they feel it is better to rip the bandaid off all at once rather than let you suffer. I imagine they see that far often then we know. I'm glad you and your pets are safe, I was so scared when I read the title

It isn't until we go through something that life-changing that we understand how strong we are. I'm glad you're able to see the opportunity for growth in such a devastating event, it's a real inspiration. Thank you for all your amazing videos over the years.

I was crying for you, just imagining losing the cats. What a miracle.

Also, marry your boyfriend. He is absolutely a keeper.

Thank God your whole household made it out! Your bf is a real one for not giving up on your cats and was brave as fuck! Thank God you have somewhere to stay. I noticed you had changed your setup and how the blue chair was gone. I never would’ve imagined this was why and that you were going through all of this. Things are only gonna get better from here! May you continue to recover. You’re tougher than the most of us!

Your attitude post-fire is so admirable. Well done for finding the silver lining and choosing to grow from such a catastrophic event.

The Tower card from a tarot deck portends a disaster in life, but one which forces change, personal growth, and lays the foundations for something new and better. (It literally depicts a crumbling, flaming tower being struck by lightning, with people fleeing.) It sounds like you've just gone through a 'tower moment' in your life, and you've drawn the best possible lessons from it. Not everyone has the wisdom nor the inner strength to do that - you should be proud.

I'm super poor, so I can't give much. I hope this helps, sorry it's not more. Glad you and your family are okay. Take care, Kiana

I have no idea who you are — your video just got recommended to me on my homepage. But this is biggest reality check I’ve had in a while. Thank you for the stark reminder that all that matters in my life are my loved ones. I’m so eternally glad that you, your partner and your babies are okay. You are honestly such a warrior. Please be kind to yourself. Much love.
