NCP working president Supriya Sule said that the split in the party, triggered by Ajit Pawar joining the BJP-led Maharashtra government, didn't affect her family as her personal and professional relationships are separate.

Sharad Pawar said that the 'mood in states was not favourable to BJP', citing Congress winning in the Karnataka Assembly elections in May. Talking about Maharashtra, Pawar said that the NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena could form a government in the state if elections were held now.
