The answer is human beings because the walk using four legs when they are babies (as they are at the crawling stage) which is referred as morning . They walk using two legs when they grow to the adult stage which is referred as afternoon . They walk using three legs when they grow old (two of them are their own legs and the other one is the stick they use for support) which is referred as evening . They walk using no leg when they die which is referred as night.
I think this is correct .

Answer: a human.
A baby crawls on 4 legs. (2 arms & 2 legs, really, but the 2 arms act as 2 legs)
It soon learns to walk on 2 legs as a toddler.
When they're older, they may need a cane (or third "leg") to walk.
And when they walk with no legs, they're 6 feet under. Dead as hell. No feet cuz they're a ghost.
Edit: it's an analogy. Morning, Afternoon, Evening & Night are synonymous with periods in human life.
