When I was growing up in Bangalore, routinely young men would approach me and invite me for "prayer meeting" and say lets discuss god. They target young and impressionable youth, brain wash them, speak negatively about hinduism and ask them to embrace Christianity. I am saying this from personal experience. This has been going on for decades in India.

Namaste 🕉🙏: This eternal accusation against Christianity I shall write upon all walls, wherever walls are to be found--I have letters that even the blind will be able to see. . . . I call Christianity the one great curse, the one great intrinsic depravity, the one great instinct of revenge, for which no means are venomous enough, or secret, subterranean and small enough, --I call it the one immortal blemish upon the human race...

Madame has explained very clearly what is Article 25. However, no effort has been made to create awareness about this article at the grassroot level in every religion. Almost 99% of people are ignorant, including the educated about the details of Article 25. I doubt very much whether anyone has sought it or read it. Personal conversion based on conviction of an adult is a different matter. But forced conversion into any religion is an abhorrent criminal act. For example, nobody can question the conversion of Dr. Ambedkar from Hinduism into Buddhism. Many people say this was not a conversion because Buddhism is a part of Hinduism. Ambedkar had declared that ''I am not a Hindu''. Yet in a single stroke of the pen, he converted the entire scheduled castes into the Arya Samaj for the purpose of getting concessions and reservations. This, despite the fact that scheduled caste(untouchables) people are not Hindus and they can never be Hindus, according to Hindu Dharma, nobody can convert to Hinduism. Hindus are always born Hindus. But the Scheduled Castes have been accommodated in the Arya Samaj This was done for political reasons to show a clear Hindu majority in India prior to Independence. Till date nobody has questioned this. This was the biggest mass conversion of an entire people. Nobody took their consent. If I am wrong, please somebody point it out.
I am against conversion of any kind. Forced conversion is a criminal act, regardless of who does it.
