Hello from the Rhineland. I just want to warn people here that bike racks seem to be hot items for thieves. I personally had a two year Thule rack stolen in broad daylight from a popular park area near a ferry landing - lots of people around but also lots of cyclists leaving their racks on their vehicles - the thieves know what they are doing and move quickly. My replacement rack is the foldable Thule EasyFold. it has a little more security with a clamp that is adjustable for a tighter fit on the hitch but I would never leave it unattended on my vehicle...maybe if it were loaded with a bike that is additionally locked (I use the abus bordo)-if you are leaving your bikes on your hitched rack whilst sleeping in your van/camper It might even be advisivle to add another layer of deterrent - such as one of the bike covers sold at bike shops but also available at Lidl when they have their bicycle gear on sale) with a long steel ‘canoe cable lock wrapped around that. The thieves are very bold - I don’t want to say anything bad about Thule or other rack companies as they do their best to make them secure but the thieves are two steps behind them with any changes and they will go after easy big ticket items without hesitation.

Awesome! I've been wondering how I'll carry my bike on my next trip. Never realized u can get ones that simply just clamp onto the tow ball! That's easy peasy!

One big problem. There is not enough space between the two racks for two mountain bikes. I have raleigh step through and a Moustache e mountain bike (carried without the battery so that weight limits are observed).
