With all due respect, I think the problem isn't the console, but the "use" that you expect. This is a casual gaming console, driven by the game pass. It's more a service than a hardware itself. You should consider the series X, bro. Sorry, but that's the way I see it. 👍🏽

Series S/X wireless controller is trash, the same for PS and Nintendo. Series S is a nice machine, but 364GB are a joke for a "Digital console". The expansion card's price is ridiculous...

I don't know if you already did this, but you can select what you want to download from every game
For example, you want to download Modern Warfare, but just want to play the story. You can choose to download just the campaign and not the multiplayer or the Warzone mode. So, less storage used instead of the +100GB of the full game.

same with other games, like Flight simulator or Halo collection.

This could help to have some extra GB for more games

I just picked up the series s last week. I am in the same boat as you with storage. I will purchase the expansion card in October. My advice, pick up the card, plug it in, and move on. Regardless of price. Everything will be ok! 😎

Honestly i have a external 8tbHD i don’t mind swapping out games and the speed to swap out games isn’t that bad lol this really isn’t an issue. if anything i saved a ton of money until the SSD card drops in price.

My xbox freezes ALL THE TIME and even when I go to sign in, it has a 50/50 chance of it actually connecting to the controller to the system. And if it actually does let me in, I go to play Forza or GtaV I have to restart my Xbox because it won't launch... Idk if it's just me but I want to get something else it's so demotivating to play when nothing works.

You can only play ONE GAME AT A TIME just transfer games (to external USB wisely).

I had all games on external and were working fine ....few days ago I noticed that they are now all internal and not recognizing the external...fair enough ....until I left a game to start another one ...now all game are taking too long to start and wont load up

Why did you install it you know you can switch between the external hard drive and its own Drive without deleting it the file especially they have a cloud system you can get

I was thinking about one of these when they were $250 recently and even then it just wasn't worth it. As someone who only owns a PS4 with the intention of getting a PS5, and who has a bunch of disc games to use on PS5, this thing just makes no sense. I haven't been on an Xbox since 360 and thought this would be nice to hold me over until I can get a PS5 but I chose to skip seeing as I would immediately need the expandable storage making this console $500 right there...with no disc drive. Microsoft really snagged a lot of gamers with this thing. I think people like it now but a few years down the road will wonder why they didn't just wait for the better console.

Mine is new it get hot and having a cloudy glitch problem try to return it they told me I can't I'm not buying nomore xbox s series I'm done then I call them nobody pick up then I go on they site to get a call back they got call back blocked out meaning I'm stuck with a messed up xbox series s
