Ha ha I do the same thing!! But I have taken it up to the next level - you know, the boys and their toys thing.
First I got a $99 Ryobi pressure washer from Home Depot. Then I bought a foam cannon (cheap ones and expensive ones - the $85 one is best). Then I bought SECOND foam cannon (cheap one this time). In the good foam cannon I put something called Mr Pink. I make the car look like it has been covered with shaving cream - - so nice.
Then I let it soak 5 minutes and rinse it off. I check to make sure all the dirt is off (if not, I foam again and use a wash mitt).
After the car is rinsed but still wet, I use foam cannon number 2 and spray it with a ceramic wax. Then rinse and blow dry with a leave blower. Car looks like I had it professionally detailed. Tomorrow I do it all over again 😊😊😊

Just always make sure to wash top to bottom. If you clean ur doors for example then clean the top glass, all that gunk will just fall back onto your paint. And always wash straights lines the direction like how the wind hits your car when driving. This avoids paint swirls and when you put a light towards your car, you won't see any scratches

Nathan we seriously need to have a chat about washing a car. Please please please do not use the brush at the car wash, it will scratch your car''s paint work (if you havent had the protective wrap put on it). When you buy a brand new car it is always worth getting it detailed, wether it a Fiat 500C or a Mercedes A Class, it will get rid of all the crap out of the paint work and you can get them to put a ceramic coating on the paint to give it a bit more protection. Take a bucket with you, with two sponges. !st sponge to take the dirt off the lower part of you body work and doors, the second sponge is to clean the rest of the car. Also get your self a wheel brush to clean the alloy wheels and a can or bottle of tyre shine. Never use silicon spray on the steering wheel either if you decide to clean the interior of your car. The car when brand new had matt surfaces not shiny ones. Use ordinary soap with warm water and a soft cloth of sponge to get all the grease off your steering wheel that has come from you hands. I used to spend between 4-6 Hours every couple of weeks washing and cleaning my car (I used the James May method), very theraputic and enjoyable. Seeing you nice clean car when you finished fills you with pride, well until you have a squardon of pigeons out on a sortie looking for a clean car. Bombs away! The bunch of 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. The yoke gives me Knight Rider vibes, happy days.
